Santiago-based mining company Golden International is planning an IPO for the company’s shares, a company spokesman has confirmed.
Preparations for the offering are already underway and Golden International is finalizing the board members and accounting to meet the eligibility requirements. The company expects to announce the listing of its shares early in the second quarter of 2022.
The number of shares being offered and the price per share have yet to be announced, but the spokesman confirmed that the process of appointing underwriters has begun and that information would soon be available to the public.
The offering is subject to a satisfactory agreement with the underwriters, which will include customary closing conditions. All warrants attached to Class A Shares must be exercised prior to February 28, 2022 in order to be eligible Golden International proceed smoothly with the offering on the planned schedule.
The Company is believed to be looking to raise capital to expand its operations, including purchasing more heavy equipment, increasing the workforce and expanding the amount of exploration being undertaken.
